Amazon is updating its voice assistant to support calling and messaging feature in UK and Germany. It’s already started in US and now adding support for UK and Germany customers.
Now, If you are in UK or in Germany and busy somewhere just tell your Echo device “Alexa, Call dad” and you will be connected to your dad. Isn’t it great?
The feature is enabled via an update to the Amazon Alexa app, and requires SMS verification, which may present a hurdle for those who want to use it more globally, but this is not likely a very big issue for those determined to hack the system.
Amazon is releasing a list of product and services these days, recently it partnered with Microsoft to use each other’s voice assistant.
