Google Assistant, a virtual assistant by Google, that is designed for two way conversational assistant. Generally, people listen a female voice when they need it.
Recently, it was spotted that Assistant is rolled out with male voice too for both Phones and Google Home named as “Voice ||”. The feature was first spotted by Android Police.
The new voice is available in Assistant on Google Home and on phones. To set the male voice (probably US English only), open the settings on your phone Assistant or in the Google Home app. It’s under Preferences > Assistant Voice. You can have a listen to both voices below
People often refer as Voice Assistant devices as “She” or “Her”, while These devices are Gender less. Now, you can refer Google Assistent as “He/Him”. Also, you can hear one voice at a time. It is mandatory that keep you Google and Google Home apps up-to-date to enjoy new launchings.
