Facebook lets you send money to your family and friends via Paypal

Last year Paypal announced partnership with Facebook to allow more than 2.5m US customer to connect their accounts and allowing them to shop using facebook messenger via Paypal and enabling Paypal users to do communication via Facebook Messenger.

Now, Paypal announced a new feature that enables user to transfer peer to peer (P2P) money via Facebook Messenger. This feature is rolled out only for US customers. This will give amazing experience to customers who don’t want to leave messenger while chatting with someone and don’t want to leave the messenger to transfer money.

Paypal has also developed a bot, that is integrated with facebook messenger which will assist users to reset passwords, account related settings and other payment related informations.

It’s very easy to send money in messenger via Paypal. When composing a message in Messenger with one person, or even a group, people can tap on the blue plus icon, and then select the green Payments button to quickly send or request money. People can then choose PayPal as their funding source when making a P2P payment with their Messenger contacts.

So now, if want to separate the restaurant bill, our transferring rent to your room partner or Paying for gifts on Mom’s birthday. You don’t need to leave the messenger, just follow the above steps and do it quickly.
