Facebook is new home for anonymous complementing app tbh

It seems that Facebook wants every successful startup to be merged into it with the freedom of running the brand independently. By this strategy, Facebook acquired instagram, whatsApp etc. And now it acquired the anonymous complementing app tbh.

The announcement was made by tbh itself on its website saying :

Today we’re announcing that we’re joining Facebook to continue our mission.

The tbh team wrote in announcement — “When we met with Facebook, we realized that we shared many of the same core values about connecting people through positive interactions. Most of all, we were compelled by the ways they could help us realize tbh’s vision and bring it to more people.”

Facebook didn’t disclosed the amount of the deal but the Tech website TechCrunch has heard of the deal worth is less that $100 million. According to website — “As part of the deal, tbh’s four co-creators — Bier, Erik Hazzard, Kyle Zaragoza and Nicolas Ducdodon — will join Facebook’s Menlo Park headquarters while continuing to grow their app with Facebook’s cash, engineering, anti-spam, moderation and localization resources.”
