It seems that Google is focusing too much on online payment platform. From Google wallet to Android pay and Pay with Google, everything helped users to do speedy checkout. It also launched UPI based payment method specially for India named as Google Tez.
Google today announced that it is bringing all the payments platform together under a brand name Google pay. It is not clear that Google tez will be included or not but other platforms including Android pay and Google wallet are already in.
“With Google Pay, it’ll be easier for you to use the payment information saved to your Google Account, so you can speed through checkout with peace of mind. Over the coming weeks, you’ll see Google Pay online, in store, and across Google products, as well as when you’re paying friends.” Pali Bhat, VP of Product Management, Payments, Google wrote in a blogpost. “Bringing everything into one brand is just the first step for Google Pay. We can’t wait to share more.”
If the payment information is already added, it will be very easy to make speedy checkout. Currently, this payment method is already available on Airbnb, Dice, Fandango, HungryHouse, Instacart, and other apps and websites you love and many more to come in coming days. You can also avail some offers by Google as promotional offers.
You can also implement Google pay visiting Payments Solutions site or work with processor partners for simpler integration.
