Golden Films continues to bring millions of children into the Enchanted Worlds of it’s award-winning animated programming. Golden Films has announced the launch of a new Roku Channel which will deliver a stream of quality films such as The New Adventures of Peter Rabbit, The Night Before Christmas, Snow White, The Christmas Elves and Camelot. These films have been distributed by Sony, Comcast, Amazon, Hulu amongst others and are now available to Roku’s 19 million active accounts, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV. The app is being launched in partnership with Future Today Inc. a multi-platform video distribution company that works with over 500 content partners to help distribute, market and monetize their content by creating custom branded channels on platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV. Future Today channels have been downloaded over 20 million times.
The announcement, made by Diane Eskenazi, President of Golden Films, is based on the enormous expanding audience for these films which have entertained generations of viewers. The films will also be available on the popular Roku channel HappyKids.tv which reaches 40 million viewers every month.
Golden Films has produced more than 80 children’s films with the purpose of creating positive programming for young children. The films introduce children to classic literature and music and have received numerous awards from different companies dedicated to families and kid-friendly entertainment, such as: Family Seal of Approval, ITA Gold and Platinum awards, as well as many other awards from the Dove Foundation, Kids First, The International Family Film Festival, Parents Choice, Telly and the Film Advisory Board.
