Microsoft rolled out linkedin integration with outlook.com 1

During the Microsoft ignite in september, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella gave a demonstration about integration of linkedin with Microsoft apps for commercial Office 365 subscribers.

Microsoft rolled out the integration of linkedin with Outlook.com today where user can view the rich insights, profile pictures, work history, and more, right from within their personal inbox.

Now, if you have scheduled a meeting with a person, you can view his linkedin profile, career background, interests etc right inside your outlook inbox and makeup your mind about the upcoming meeting.

Generally, in every mailbox, when user clicks on user’s name, it shows a short profile with user’s name and profile picture. When you click on the name inside Gmail it shows google plus profile in next tab with very basic information. But, this is the first time user can see the complete professional and career information inside the mailbox.
